Greetings, I’m an 11 year old honor student from Arizona.

I currently participate in the gifted program at my school. Through this program I have received many amazing opportunities from attending a creative writing class at Arizona State University (where they published one of my poems) to being invited to participate in the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Talent Search. With the CTY Talent Search, I placed in the top 35% nationally, and I was 2nd place for fifth grade students in the state of Arizona. My personal goal is maintain straight A’s throughout my educational career, so far I’m off to a good start.

When I’m not focusing on my academics, you’ll find me spending time volunteering; my goal for this year is 100 hours. Some of my favorite organizations are The Diabetes Association and Relay for Life. In fact, I started my own Relay for Life team in honor of a family friend who passed away from lung cancer. In the upcoming year, I will be creating my own Smoking Prevention and Awareness program at local elementary schools to help raise awareness of the dangers associated with smoking.

In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, reading and designing roller coasters. My goal is to one day become a Disney Imagineer, designing all those amazing rides at Disney theme parks around the world.
