ELIGIBILITY & ACCEPTANCE:
Divisions:
Jr. Miss Galaxy®
Must be between the ages of 12-14. Delegate must not be older than 14 as of June 1st of the year of the International pageant. Delegate must turn 12 as of June 1st of the year of the International pageant. This applies to participation in any preliminary pageant (e.g., local, state, provincial, national) leading to the Jr. Miss Galaxy® International Pageant as well as the International pageant itself.
Junior Teen Galaxy®
Must be between the ages of 9-11. Delegate must not be older than 12 as of June 1st of the year of the International pageant. Delegate must turn 8 as of June 1st of the year of the International pageant. This applies to participation in any preliminary pageant (e.g., local, state, provincial, national) leading to the Junior Teen Galaxy® International Pageant as well as the International pageant itself.
Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy®
Must be between the ages of 6-8. Delegate must not be older than 9 as of June 1st of the year of the International pageant. Delegate must turn 7 June 1st of the year of the International pageant. This applies to participation in any preliminary pageant (e.g., local, state, provincial, national) leading to the Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy® International Pageant as well as the International pageant itself.
REQUIRED AREAS OF COMPETITION:
Delegates will compete in four equally weighted categories: Photogenic (25%), Interview (25%) Fashionwear (25%) and Evening Wear (25%) The highest composite scores will determine the finalists.
Photogenic (25%)
Harrison Productions, L.L.C. relies heavily upon international advertising in industry publications and the internet to promotion the Jr. Miss and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™. Therefore, titleholders must possess photogenic appeal and ability to project an image consistent with beauty and elegance. Photo requirements:
* Color photo of your choice
* A 8X10 picture
* Formal attire or informal attire, dress is up to you.
* Must be of good quality and clarity.
* Must submit a copyright release if required by her photographer.

* Airbrushing should be kept to a minimum. You should look like your photo.
* Judging criteria: photogenic appeal, photo quality and clarity, beauty of face and figure, personality, grooming and fashion sense.

Interview (25%)
Jr. Miss and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International™ titleholders must be articulate with excellent social and conversational skills. Titleholders must be able to express themselves clearly, diplomatically, and must project a pleasant personality at all times.

Fashionwear (25%)
Galaxy International™ titleholders must be able to project their own personal sense of style. This segment will be conducted very much like a runway fashion show. Fashion attire can be anything the delegate feels represents a currently popular or stylish ensemble. Judges will be looking for high energy, spirit, and the delegate's sense of contemporary style for today's woman. Judges are not looking for a specific style or designer label but rather how well the attire suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation. Competition details:
* Attire is dressy-casual and may be a dress or pants outfit.
* Delegates are encouraged to accessorize with earrings, jackets, hats, gloves, etc.
* Accessories may be used as “props” for modeling.
* Bare midriffs are not acceptable.
* Very casual attire (e.g., shorts, jeans, dockers) is not recommended.
Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.

Evening Wear (25%)
Galaxy International™ titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance. Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate's on-stage presentation.
Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.

OPTIONAL AREAS OF COMPETITION:
If Delegate and her family chooses, she may compete in the Optional areas of competition which entrance fee is not included in the $595.00 Entrance Fee. These optional competition will be judged by a seperate panel of judges and option results will be revealed in a seperate production so that the Overall title results are not compromised.
Photogenic
Each Photograph submitted is an additional fee of $75.00, there are no maximum times a delegate can submit a photograph to be judged. Photo requirements:
* Color photo of your choice
* An 8X10 picture
* Formal attire or informal attire, dress is up to you.
* Must be of good quality and clarity.

Each Photograph submitted must be accompanied with the required Photogenic Submission Form which is supplied in all confirmed delegate's packet and brought with the delegate, all fees are to be made in check, cash or money order made payable to Harrison Productions, LLC. These forms are to be turned in at Registration.
Talent
Each talent submitted for competition is an additional fee of $100.00, there are no maximum times a delegate can compete in this optional division, as long as the talent is different than the delegate's other submissions (e.g. Delegate wishes to compete with a jazz dance routine, a ballet dance routine and a tap dance routine, she may compete three times). If music or sound is required, it must be indicated on the Talent Entrance Form which is supplied in the delegate's packet which is supplied to all confirmed delegates. One CD PER TALENT is required and submitted with each Talent Entrance Form. If a delegate is going to compete more than once, then a seperate Talent Entrance Form and seperate CD is to be attached to the form. Talents are to be limited to two minutes and thirty seconds.
Spokesmodel
Each Spokesmodel competition is an additional fee of $75.00, the maximum times a delegate can compete in this optional division is five which is the number of topics in the competition. If a delegate is going to compete more than once, then a seperate Spokesmodel Entrance Form is to be submitted. Speeches are to be limited to two minutes and thirty seconds.
Modeling
The Modeling competition is an additional fee of $75.00, the maximum times a delegate can compete in this optional division is once. A delegate is to submit a Modeling Entrance Form is to be submitted for entrance into this optional competition.
Actress
Each Actress competition is an additional fee of $75.00, there are no maximum times a delegate can compete in this optional division. If a delegate is going to compete more than once, then a seperate Actress Entrance Form is to be submitted. Monolouges are to be limited to two minutes and thirty seconds.
ELIGIBILITY & ACCEPTANCE:
If a preliminary pageant is held for which entrant qualifies, entrant must first participate in the preliminary pageant before applying to enter the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ as an at-large delegate unless special conditions are met (ref. “At-Large” Entry / Title Representation section below).
Preliminary pageant entrant agrees to look solely to the preliminary Pageant Director with respect to all matters relating to her application, rules, regulations, policies, preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process, and all other matters relating to the preliminary pageant. Harrison Productions, LLC, its officers, directors, agents and employees are not liable to entrant for anything whatsoever in connection with the preliminary pageant.
Entrant agrees to attend the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ if selected as the winner in a preliminary pageant and further abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant.
Winners of preliminary pageants are not eligible to re-compete in the same division at the same preliminary pageant but may re-enter once their status changes such that they become eligible for a different division.
Winners of preliminary pageants may re-enter the international pageant as an at-large delegate once they have fulfilled their obligations as specified by the rules and regulations of the preliminary pageant.
Participants of preliminary pageants who are not named as the winning titleholder(s) may apply to become an at-large delegate following the conclusion of the preliminary pageant.
AT-LARGE TITLE REPRESENTATION:
“At-large” refers to the status of any delegate who enters the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ directly at the international level without first winning a preliminary pageant. Entrants may apply directly to the international pageant as an “at-large” delegate under the following conditions:
* If no preliminary pageant is offered for which entrant qualifies;
*
If preliminary pageant director has waived the participation prerequisite as
part of the preliminary pageant affiliation agreement;
* If preliminary pageant director has agreed to entrant’s participation as an at-large delegate due to special circumstances;
* If entrant has fulfilled the preliminary pageant participation requirement and did not emerge as the preliminary pageant winner;
* Delegates compete equally at the international pageant regardless of status as a preliminary winner or at-large delegate and regardless of title representation.
Eligibility for at-large country, regional, cultural, state and city titles is determined by meeting at least one of the following criteria:
* Current or prior residency in the country, region, state, city;
* Current or prior student status in the country, region, state, city;
* Born in the country, region, state, city;
* 25% cultural heritage for cultural / country titles
At-large applicants are asked to rank order their top three title choices. Upon receipt of required deposit, at-large applicant is placed into “pending” status regarding title assignment. At-large applicant may make payments or may make payment in full at the time of application.
At-large titles are assigned upon receipt of paperwork, photo(s) and payment in full of required fees. If two applicants apply for the same title, the title will be awarded to the first applicant who makes payment in full, regardless of when the initial applications were filed. The other applicant will be assigned another available title for which they qualify upon receipt of payment in full.
Harrison Productions, L.L.C. retains full and ultimate authority for any and all decisions regarding assignment of titles to at-large delegates for representation associated with the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™.
Titles commence upon receipt of written notification from Harrison Productions, L.L.C. and expire at the end of the calendar year during which the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ is held.
Harrison Productions, L.L.C. retains the right to reserve any title for any reason and to award titles in reserve status to at-large delegates based upon criteria established by Harrison Productions, L.L.C. (e.g., “U.S.” national titles and North American continental titles will be offered to runners-up from the previous year’s international finals before being released to the general public for representation.)
Entrant agrees to attend the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ once confirmed as an “at-large” delegate and further to abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant.
At large delegate agrees to look solely to Harrison Productions, L.L.C. with respect to all matters relating to the application, the preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process and all other matters relating to this pageant.
Harrison Productions, L.L.C. retains the right to assign titles to at-large delegates at any time for upcoming Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageants™ (i.e., a 2008 at-large state titleholder may be assigned during the 2007 calendar year, even if the title is being held contempor.
Entrants who are At Large delegates may compete in other pageant systems that do not have a No-Compete clause.
RETURNING DELEGATES:
Former winners of the titles Jr. Miss Galaxy®, Jr. Teen Galaxy® and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy® are not eligible to compete in the same division but may re-enter once their status changes such that they become eligible for a different division.
At large delegates may re-enter the international pageant from year to year.
Winners of preliminary pageants are not eligible to re-compete in the same division at the same preliminary pageant but may re-enter once their status changes such that they become eligible for a different division.nter the international pageant as an at-large delegate in the same division.
ENTRY FEE:
The $595.00 entry fee is required to enter the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® as an at-large delegate. Delegate may seek sponsors or may pay the entry fee herself. All sponsors are recognized in theJr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® program book at no charge. Payment may be made by personal check, money order, or credit card via PayPal. Delegates may make payments toward the total entry fee.

Payments of any amount must be made at least every 30 days until the total fee is received. Failure to remit payment every 30 days may result in loss of title and fees paid.
Delegate's title will be assigned and her crown and sash will be ordered after payment has been received in full by Harrison Productions, LLC. Once payment is received in full, sashes and crowns are shipped out once they are completed which typically takes 4-6 weeks. An EXPEDITED fee for a 2-3 week delivery is an additional $60.00. A one week RUSHED fee is $85.00. Please see “At-Large Delegates / Title Representation for details regarding title assignment.
The Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® is self-supporting and relies solely upon entry fees to cover production expenses. Production expenses include but are not limited to: advertising, hotel rentals, theater rentals, performers’ fees, judges' expenses, staging, supplies, prizes, awards, etc.
AIl delegates who wish to purchase a rhinestoned sash, an additional $200.00 fee is required, this will be a double rhinestoned banded row.
A significant percentage of the entry fee is directed back to each delegate in the form of crown, sash, entertainment, parties, gifts, and prizes.
REFUND POLICY:
All fees paid to Harrison Productions, L.L.C. are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, pageant admission ticket sales fees, guest meal fees and any other fees paid to Harrison Productions, L.L.C. by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers.
DEADLINES:
The entry deadline is June 1, 2009. Entry fees must be paid in full by the entry deadline. Preliminary pageants must be concluded by the entry deadline. There will be no exceptions under any circumstances.
All required delegate paperwork (e.g., Biographical Information Form, etc.) must be complete and received by Harrison Productions, L.L.C. by the paperwork deadline which is posted on the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® website
Required crown and sash photo for the Official Program Book must be received by the deadline which is posted in the confirmed delegates paperwork packet.
Delegates may use a different crown and sash photo for the photogenic judging segment and are to bring their photo to the pageant finals.
All deadlines are strictly enforced and must be adhered to by entrant and preliminary pageant directors. Entrant (and director, if applicable) understands and agrees to the following penalty for late submission of required items, including paperwork, photography and full payment of fees by posted deadlines:
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Photography. Entrant must submit a crown and sash headshot photo for the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy website, a photo for the Official Program Book, and Photogenic Photo as specified in Competition Judging section. Photos may be emailed to Britt.Harrison@MissPreTeenGalaxy.com or sent via traditional mail service.
Attire. Delegates provide their own competition and opening number attire. Other wardrobe requirements will be sent to official delegates.
Travel. Delegates make their own travel arrangements. Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for arranging international travel or intervening / resolving disputes involving international travel to the United States of America for the pageant competition. Harrison Productions, L.L.C. will provide entrant with a statement of acceptance into the pageant that verifies delegate status when attaining necessary travel documents.
Hotel. Delegates are required to stay at the host hotel (unless delegate lives close enough to drive from home to pageant events each day). Delegates and their families must make their own hotel reservations.
Minors. All Delegates must be accompanied by an adult. Harrison Productions, LLC assumes no responsibility for minors.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
Entrant affirms that she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character; that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavorably on the pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or licensees; that she has not appeared in nude or provocative photographs for any film or publication prior to, during the preliminary or pageant finals, or during her reign should she become a preliminary Winner, at-large delegate or Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® Titleholder.
Delegate will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ and while representing a Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® title.
Delegate will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, Harrison Productions, L.L.C. staff or anyone else involved with or connected to the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®. Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against Harrison Productions, L.L.C. and the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, and legal charges.
Any delegate found publicly posting slanderous remarks on public forums will be immediately disqualified.
Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Disruptive behavior before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and legal charges.
Delegate agrees to sign a Code of Conduct statement indicating agreement to abide by the terms specified here. Failure to sign the Code of Conduct statement does not in any way release delegate from responsibility to abide by the Code of Conduct stated here.
All issues related to the Code of Conduct and consequences for violation thereof shall be determined solely and exclusively by Harrison Productions, L.L.C. Entrant agrees to accept such determinations made by Galaxy. both as to herself and others.
PARTICIPATION IN GALAXY INTERNATIONAL EVENTS:
Delegates are expected to be on time and present for all scheduled rehearsals and events leading up to and during the pageant finals. Delegates will lose 1 point for each unexcused missed event. In the event of illness, a delegate may be excused from attending an event. Harrison Productions, L.L.C. President is the only individual with the authority to release a delegate from a scheduled event.
INTERNATIONAL WINNERS' CONTRACT:
If selected as a Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen or Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® winner, delegate agrees to sign a contract stating agreement to arrange and make a minimum of 15 appearances throughout her year’s reign. Appearances may include but are not limited to parades; radio, television and newspaper interviews; and public appearances at events. Winners are expected to provide Harrison Productions, L.L.C. with photos of appearances for theJr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® website and promotion. If delegate is unwilling to sign the contract and/or unable or unwilling to fulfill the obligations, the title won and all prizes will be awarded to the first runner up.
The reign of the three overall Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant™ winners (i.e., Jr. Miss Galaxy®, Jr. Teen Galaxy®, Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy®) will commence immediately after crowning and will end immediately following the crowning of their successor.
Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders agree to make monthly contact with Harrison Productions, L.L.C. by phone, letter, fax or e-mail.
Jr. Miss, /jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders agree to provide Harrison Productions, L.L.C. with photocopies of articles pertaining to her reign and pictures of appearances for the pageant history scrapbook.
Overall Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders (i.e., Jr. Miss Galaxy®, Jr. Teen Galaxy®, Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy®) agree that they will not enter any other pageant or compete for any other titles during their year’s reign without the prior written permission from Harrison Productions, L.L.C. The Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® title is the overall winners' main pageant-related priority. Winners are expected to give their time and energy to this title and this title only during their year’s reign. Permission for Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders to participate in other pageants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Winners may have a modeling, commercial tie-up, personal management and/or agency contract, which contract however does not include, authorize or permit the use of the name of the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®, or any other registered tradename, trademark or logo of Harrison Productions, L.L.C., or any title designation or reference with respect to the pageant in any manner.
International winners agree to attend the next year’s pageant to crown their successors. Winners’ travel, lodging, and meal expenses will be paid by Harrison Productions, L.L.C.
STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT:
Photography & Videography.
By virtue of participation in the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®, delegate agrees to allow Harrison Productions, L.L.C. the right to use her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion now and in the future. Delegate understands that her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information may be used on the internet, in print advertising, press releases and merchandise related to the Galaxy International Pageant® (e.g., t-shirts, tote bags, hats, other apparel, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.) Delegate agrees to release Harrison Productions, L.L.C. from liability for any injury resulting from publicity and promotion. Delegate agrees to waive any and all compensation for use of her name, likeness, voice, and /or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion.
Photography & Videography.
Delegates and their families are permitted to take photos and video during events leading up to the on-stage pageant competition event. Cameras or videography will not be allowed during any on-stage competition events. Individuals who fail to comply with this rule will be asked to leave the venue without benefit of refund for admission ticket. Professional photography and videography will be made available by the Official Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant Photographer and Videographer.
Disqualification / Title Relinquishment.
If delegate is disqualified or relinquishes, for any reason, any title awarded to her, all prizes must be returned in full, and in condition received. If, for any reason, either of the two international winners resign or are disqualified, the 1st runner-up in the appropriate age division will assume the title and all prizes.
Limitation of Liability / Responsibility
a.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C., its officers, directors, agents and employees are not liable to entrant for anything whatsoever in connection with any preliminary pageant leading to the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®. Preliminary pageant entrant agrees to look solely to the preliminary Pageant Director with respect to all matters relating to her application, rules, regulations, policies, preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process, and all other matters relating to the preliminary pageant.
b.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C., its officers, employees, and pageant personnel are not responsible for accidents, injury or theft incurred at the time of the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® or travel to and from.
c.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of pageant sponsors, judges, or contract vendors (e.g., photographer, videographer, etc.) who may be providing products or services to delegates at the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®.
d.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of the host hotel.
e.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for arranging international travel or intervening / resolving disputes surrounding international travel to the United States of America for the pageant competition.
f.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for providing an interpreter for delegates who do not speak or understand English.
g.) Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage caused to any and all prizes, gifts, and awards bestowed upon entrant after these items become the property of entrant. entrant agrees to incur replacement and/or repair costs to lost, stolen, or damaged items including but not limited to: crown/tiara, sash, plaques, trophoes, etc.
AGREEMENT:
By submitting the entry form and fee(s) to Harrison Productions, L.L.C. or Director of any Preliminary Pageant leading to the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant®, delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Harrison Productions, L.L.C. Participation in the Jr. Miss, Jr. Teen and Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International Pageant® also indicates acceptance and agreement to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Harrison Productions, L.L.C. Delegate attests that all information submitted to Harrison Productions, L.L.C. is true and accurate. Falsification of information and failure to comply with the policies of Harrison Productions, L.L.C. may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes won without benefit of refund in full or in part at the sole discretion of Harrison Productions, L.L.C.
